Privacy Policy
StupidSmart Studios ("we," "us") is a creative studio based in Toronto, Canada. This page explains what information we collect when you visit stupidsmartstudios.com, why we collect it, and how to reach us if you have questions.
What we collect
- Basic visit data. Our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically logs standard request metadata — IP address, browser type, referring page, and time of visit — to keep the site running and to spot abuse. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
- What you send us. If you email us at hello@stupidsmartstudios.com or fill in any form on the site, we receive whatever you write — typically your name, email address, and message.
- Files you share. If you send us briefs, references, or other materials by email, we keep them only for as long as needed to do the work or respond to your inquiry.
What we don't do
- We do not sell your information to anyone, ever.
- We do not run advertising pixels (Meta, Google Ads, etc.) on this site.
- We do not build behavioural profiles of visitors.
Cookies & analytics
We may use lightweight, privacy-respecting analytics (such as Vercel Analytics or Plausible) to understand which pages people visit. These tools do not use third-party cookies and do not track you across other sites.
Third parties
The site is hosted on Vercel. Web fonts are served by Google Fonts. Email reaches us through Google Workspace. Each of these has its own privacy practices, which we don't control.
Your rights
If you're in Canada, the EU, or the UK, you have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, request a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@stupidsmartstudios.com and we'll respond within a reasonable time frame (usually under 30 days).
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to how we handle information, we'll update this page and bump the "Last updated" date at the top.
